Carrot - Nigel F1 Hybrid
This is a quick growing second early Nantes. Carrot Nigel F1 produces heavy crops of cylindrical, smooth-skinned, good flavoured, coreless bright orange roots, which resist cracking once washed. It stores well for winter use.
Sow from March to June thinly, 1cm deep in drills 30cm apart. Thin seedlings when large enough to handle, allowing 2cm between roots. Prefers well drained, moist, rich conditions.
