Shallot - Prisma F1 Hybrid
Each seed of Shallot Prisma produces a single attractive shiny reddish-brown skinned, white fleshed round shallot bulb, with a distinct flavour. There is no risk of transferring white rot virus and the bulbs of Shallot Prisma store well.
Sow seeds from March to April thinly into well raked soil where the plants are to be cropped. Make succesional sowings, 1cm deep in drills 30cm apart. Thin seedlings to 5-8cm apart when large enough to handle. Prefers a rich, moist, well-drained soil in full sun.
