Pea – Twinkle
Pick fresh, tasty peas early in the season with this quality, British bred variety. Enjoy trouble-free, bumper crops thanks to its impressive Pea Wilt resistance and Downy Mildew tolerance. It is perfect for successional sowing to give longer cropping period. Height: 45-55cm.
Sow under cloches in February for early crops, or outdoors in March-April, every 10 days. Sow seeds in flat-bottomed drills 5cm apart, 5cm deep and in blocks or rows, 45cm apart. It prefers well-drained, moist, rich conditions. The peas will be ready to harvest around 12-13 weeks from sowing, and regular picking will encourage further cropping. Plants are self supporting when sown in blocks.
