Trailing Lobelia Sapphire Cascade 1000 Seeds

Trialing Lobelia are easy to grow and always a popular addition to baskets and tubs. The flowers cascade in a delightful sapphire display all summer.  The plant will continue producing a cascade of flowers over a long period.

Sow late winter to mid spring at 18-24C in a good seed compost. Sow seed on surface of compost and gently firm down compost. Keep soil damp but not wet. Do not exclude light, sealing in a polythene bag after sowing is helpful. Germination usually takes 14-21 days. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant in bunches of 3 or 4 per 7.5cm pot and grow on in cooler conditions. Plant up into containers or hanging baskets and leave for 1-15 days before moving out of doors.
