Nemophila - Five Spot (Trailing)
This is a pretty easily grown plant for the front of the border, bedding, container or the rockery. They also make nice pot plants.
Sow early spring outdoors where they are to flower. Prepare the ground well and rake to a fine tilth before sowing. Sow 1.5mm deep in rows 15cm apart. Germination usually takes approximately 21 days. An autumn sowing outdoors will provide earlier flowers and in a cold frame will produce spring flowering pot plants in the cold greenhouse. When large enough to handle thin out to 15cm (6in) apart. They prefer a sunny open site but will grow in most sites and soils and in part shade.
