Gourd - Jim Jams
This is an all-encompassing mixture of easy to grow Gourds, which are small, large, pure colours, striped, mottled in every shape and colour imaginable. They make superb autumn decorations when few fresh flowers are available. The trailer is not edible.
Sow in early spring 6mm deep in a good compost. Make sure that the compost is moist but not wet and seal in a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 10-14 days at 24-27C. Transplant when large enough to handle into 7.5cm pots and grow on in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 1-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost 6cm apart. They prefer a well sheltered spot in deep rich soil but will grow well in most parts of the garden.

Normally all orders made by 1pm on working days will be shipped the same day although it may be a bit longer at busy times. If you have ordered larger quantities of commercial seeds delivery can be slightly longer. If we encounter any problems we will contact you.
