Canterbury Bells - Mixed
This variety features masses of bells in an astonishing range of blues, whites and pinks. It is a gentle reminder of the cottage garden days. Height: 90-120cm.
Sow in late spring/early summer outdoors in a well prepared seed bed. Sow the seeds very thinly in drills 6mm deep, 15cm apart. Transplant the seedlings before they become crowded 15cm apart into a reserve border for the summer. Plant out 38cm apart where they are to flower. For a greenhouse display in the summer pot up a few plants into 8in pots in the autumn and place in a cold frame or slightly heated greenhouse for the winter.
