Parsnip - Pinnacle F1
Whiter, smoother-skinned roots and shallow crowns are features of this excellent British-bred parsnip. Specially selected against canker, the slender wedge-shaped roots of Parsnip Pinnacle produce a good weight of flesh and display excellent root uniformity and winter hardiness. Harvest from October to April from March to May sowings.
Sow seeds from April to May. Sow seeds thinly, 1cm deep in drills 30cm apart. Sow clusters of 3 or 4 seeds every 20cm. Thin out to the strongest seedling after germination. Germination can be very slow. Harvest the roots from autumn onwards, leaving them in the ground if required. Fully winter hardy.
