Lavatera - Trimestris Mixed
This is a beautiful formula mixture of this ever popular hardy annual. The dwarf, bushy well branched plants are covered in glowing pink flowers, glistening white with dark green leaves. It flowers from mid-summer to autumn. Height: 60-90cm.
Sow from late autumn to early spring 1.5mm deep in good seed compost. Make sure that the compost is moist but not wet and seal in a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 15-21 days at 21C. They can also be sown outdoors in spring where they are to flower. Transplant when large enough to handle into 8cm pots. Grow cool and later plant out 4cm apart into an ordinary but not rich soil in sun and some shelter.
