This is an old fashioned selection of stately and elegant Lavatera, producing silky flowers in pink and white. Bushy, upright plants produce blooms throughout summer. This traditional plant has an excellent all-round garden performance. It is an ideal border filler suitable for cottage garden effects.
Sow from April to May outdoors where they are to flower. Prepare the ground well and rake to a fine tilth before sowing. Sow 6mm deep, in rows 30cm apart. When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 23cm apart. Prefers a well-drained soil in full sun.
