Wallflower - Dwarf Brilliant Bedder
Dwarf, sturdy and much neater and compact plants. Very good for exposed positions, beds and borders. Where space is limited containers, tubs, etc. Flowers spring. Height 25-30cm (10-12in).
Sow in late spring/early summer outdoors in a well prepared seed bed. Sow the seeds very thinly 1.5mm deep in drills 30cm apart. Keep the soil damp until germination takes place. Transplant the seedlings when large enough to handle 15-23cm apart. When about 1-13cm tall, pinch out the growing point to make them more bushy. Transplant 3cm apart into the flowering site in the autumn They will grow in most soils in sun or part shade.
