This is a very eye-catching variety of pumpkin. It has black striped skin. The pumpkins are small to medium size ( 5 -8 lbs). It is a semi bush type and is great roasted.
Sow the seed at the end of April and plant out in a well manured plot during May if you can protect from the cold. Otherwise plant out in June. The plant needs loads of water and regular feeding.
