Dandelion root is one of the most powerful vegetable detoxifiers known, acting on both stomach and gall bladder. How to use: Acts most effectively as a root decoction, prepared by boiling 20 grams of dry root (or 40 g fresh) in 750 ml of water for 20 minutes. The leaves too are useful for preparing infusions, brewing 1 spoonful of dry leaves or two of fresh leaves in 250 ml of boiling water for 5–10 minutes. Use the decoction or infusion for 7 days in a row, adding 30 ml to meals 2 times a day.
