Introduced in 2016. A new Burpee development for the European market. This is an improved Tomande with even better flavoured fruit although about 7 days later to ripen with fruit weighing approximately 50g more at an average of 250g.
Sow from February onwards in pots. Will need heat to germinate. Plant out in greenhouse from May onwards or outdoors after hardening off in June. Do not allow the plants to get too cold as they will develop a purple tint and growth will slow down.
