This is a great addition for borders and makes a good ground cover. The Gentian blue flowers open early in the day, but when they close later they produce an unusual and attractive seed head. They will flower in the first year, and grow to a height of 30-45 cm.
Sow from May onwards, and plant out after the last frost.
