This is a dark burgundy coloured form of this vigorous and rapid growing plant. Large red "snapdragons" with exploding seed-cases cluster on thick, succulent stems. It can self-seed and spread if near water so take care!
Sow in spring outside, either directly into the ground or in pots. Keep moist in a warm, covered, light spot. Plant out in deep, moist enriched soil for the best results.
