This is a very vigorous perennial which produces loads of white, pink and purple flowers on upright spikes. The flowers are edible and the leaves can be used for herbal tea. It provides excellent ground cover as it reaches 15cm in height and spreads up to 1m.
The seed germinates easily when sown in the spring and kept at room temperature.
