Thyme - Large
Thyme Large, or broad-leaved evergreen, is a hardy perennial. This low-growing, sprawling thyme grows to 20cm, and is good as ground cover or in hanging baskets. It features good flavour for cooking.
Sow outdoors in a confined area, in May, with thin to 20 cm spacing. Sow every three or four years as plants become woody and lose flavour. Pick sprigs to use fresh throughout summer. Harvest in September and dry for winter use. Frequent cutting promotes bushy new growth
