Or, use a dish, seed tray or punnet for sprouts or seedlings.\u003cbr\u003e\nHow Wash the amount of seed to be sprouted in cold water and soak for 8 hours. Place seeds in jar and cover with a cloth. Once or twice each day rinse the seeds with tepid water and drain. Or, place several layers of damp kitchen towel or a thin layer of compost in the bottom of a tray or dish, sprinkle with seed and cover with more damp paper or compost. Ensure the paper or compost remains moist at all times.\u003cbr\u003e\nCare Place in the dark, at approx. 15°C, a cupboard is ideal. Once seedlings develop move into the light allowing the small leaves to colour for ‘green’ sprouts or leave in the dark for ‘white’ sprouts.\u003cbr\u003e\nHarvest Sprouts after approx. 4-6 days when approx. 2.5cm long. Seedlings take a further 3-6 days and should be cut from approx. 5cm tall.
