Tomato - Orange Paruche
The high sugar content of this cherry sized variety gives the fruit a superb flavour. Suitable for growing both indoors and out, this intermediate plant is also an excellent source of vitamin C and antioxidants.
Sow indoors from March to April. A warm kitchen windowsill is all you need for starting these seeds. Sow thinly, 0.5cm deep, in a pot of compost. Water well and place in a warm position. A temperature of 15-20°C is ideal. Keep moist. Seedlings usually appear in 7-14 days. Transplant to individual pots when 10-15cm tall. Grow on in cooler, but not cold conditions. Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions, before planting out from May to June into fertile compost in patio tubs with drainage holes or baskets, when frosts are over. Harvest from July to October.
