Onoclea sensibilis - Sensitive Fern

Long stemmed pale green fronds, sensitive to frost, hence the name. This accommodating fern will grow in fairly dry ground as well as damper areas where it can spread in a dense carpet over the water surface.

Grows best in a damp ground but has been seen rambling over shallow water. Tidy old foliage as required.Part to full shade
