Petasites hybridus - Butterbur - Marginal Plant

The pink club-like flowers appear, sometimes as early as February. The large round leaves about 30cm in diameter are a little like a miniature gunnera. The leaves were used to wrap around butter before the days of refrigeration.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Little maintenance is required. Trim just above the water surface after foliage has died back in Autumn to tidy.Full sun to part shade
