Organic Broccoli - Purple Sprouting
This is a dual purpose variety for summer, autumn or spring harvesting. Bushy plants produce large, tasty purple spears over a long picking period.
Sow outdoors from April to June. Sow thinly in a well prepared seed bed, 2cm deep in rows 15cm apart. As the seedlings appear, thin to 7cm apart. When about 10cm tall transplant to the growing site about 45cm apart, planting them 2cm deeper than they were in the seed bed.
