Wild Strawberry - Fragaria vesca
This variety is also known as the woodland strawberry. It has small strawberry flowers and wonderfully flavoured small fruit. Note the fruit are much smaller than the normal cultivated strawberry.
The germination of these seeds can be a bit slow and erratic. Sow from February onwards undercover, keep temperature at 21C. Germination takes 2-3 weeks. Pot up into individual pots and harden off before planting the seedlings out.
