This mix contains wild flowers designed to give a great display first year after sowing. Seed mixture contains types such as: Corn Cockle, Corn Marigold, Cornflower, Common Knapweed, Lady's Bedstraw, Meadow Buttercup, Ox-Eye Daisy, Poppy, Red Campion, White Campion as well as grasses
Each box contains about 15g of seeds plus a carrier to make the sees easy to spread.
This shaker box will grow well in a sunny or slightly shaded place.Clear any stones and weeds, loosen the soil and rake over. Give the box a good shake and scatter the contents at a rate of 25-30g/sq m (approximately 8 tablespoons). Water the ground immediately. Sow mid-March to June or September to November. Flowers in summer from a spring sowing, or the following spring from an autumn sowing; annuals will flower in their first year and then self-seed for flowering in following years, perennials normally flower from year 2 onwards (some may flower in their first year if sown early). Water regularly until they are fully established, especially during dry periods. Remove any fading flowers to encourage fresh blooms and keep weed free.
