Introduced in 2014. Burpee’s largest fruited tomato is a 'world-beater'. Indeterminate plants bear massive 700g to 1Kg fruit with larger fruits being recorded by specialist growers. The fruit also have excellent flavour and can a single fruit can be sliced to feed an average sized family of four. RHS ‘AGM’
Sow from February onwards in pots. Will need heat to germinate. Plant out in greenhouse from May onwards or outdoors after hardening off in June. Do not allow the plants to get too cold as they will develop a purple tint and growth will slow down.
