Tomato - Redfield Beauty
These vigorous plants produce heavy yields of good quality, slightly flattened, large, non-splitting, uniform deep red-pinkish fruit with very thin skins. These are very juicy with an excellent, full flavour that is somewhat mild and low in acidity.
Sow in pots from February onwards. Sow seeds on the surface, cover lightly. Do not allow the soil to dry out. Hold containers in warm conditions until shoots appear, which may take from 3-10 days. Move seedlings immediately to bright light conditions, such as a south-facing window. Inadequate light is a frequent cause of failure of young seedlings. Pot on after first true leaves appear. At about the time of last frost, set out into grow bags. Do not allow the plants to get too cold.
