These small, rounded, light creamy-yellow fruit have a superb spicy, sweet and very fruity flavour. A most unusual fruit having a fuzzy skin like a peach, and named after the river in Iowa, USA.
Sow from February onwards in pots. Will need heat to germinate. Plant out in greenhouse from May onwards or outdoors after hardening off in June. Do not allow the plants to get too cold as they will develop a purple tint and growth will slow down.
