Tomato - Brandy Boy
Brandy Boy captures all the rich flavor of the beloved Brandywine heirloom tomato with a more shapely form, tidier growth habit, improved disease-resistance and bigger, earlier yields. It produces loads of large pink fruits up to 5½" across. The fruits ripen evenly and share Brandywine's soft heirloom texture, thin skin and exceptional tangy-sweet taste.
Sow in pots from February onwards. Sow seeds on the surface, cover lightly. Do not allow the soil to dry out. Hold containers in warm conditions until shoots appear, which may take from 3-10 days. Move seedlings immediately to bright light conditions, such as a south-facing window. Inadequate light is a frequent cause of failure of young seedlings. Pot on after first true leaves appear. At about the time of last frost, set out into grow bags. Do not allow the plants to get too cold.
