Seaside Fleabane - Erigeron Glaucus

Seaside Fleabane (a.k.a. Beach Aster or Seaside Daisy) is native to the coastline of Oregon and California where it grows on beaches, coastal bluffs and dunes. This perennial has masses of pretty, pale lavender, daisy-like flowers, from summer through into autumn. It is a hardy compact perennial with glaucus blue-green foliage, and it grows to a height of about 12 inches.

Suitable for edging beds and borders, ground cover, rock and gravel gardens. Requires free draining soil in sun or part-shade.
