Sweet William - Indian Carpet
Indian Carpet can be in flower within 12 weeks from a March sowing under glass. It is a dwarf strain ideal for bedding, with plenty of colourful flowers.
Sow from May to early July. Prepare a nursery bed and sow direct about 1cm deep in rows 20cm apart. When the seedlings are large enough to handle, thin out to 5cm apart, thin again later to 15cm apart. In September or October transplant to flowering site 20cm apart. Flowers from June to August the following year.
