Beet Leaf - Rhubarb Chard
Rhubarb Chard adds colour to your salad with its remarkable red ribs and veins. Alternatively it can be grown on to use like spinach.
Sow the seeds from March to October, thinly outdoors in-situ, 1cm deep in rows 30cm apart. Take out excess plants to give final spacing about 10cm apart. Cuts leaves regularly as the plant matures. Always leave some leaves so it continues to develop for future cutting. If required, allow to fully grow to use leaves as a substitute for spinach.
