This is a delightful addition to the flower border, featuring dark green foliage with large single white flowers all summer long. It grows to a height of 90cm.
Sow from February to June under cover onto the surface of seed-sowing compost in pots or trays. Lightly cover the seeds with sieved compost or vermiculite. Place at a temperature of 15-21C until seeds germinate, which usually takes 10-21 days. Transplant the seedlings when large enough to handle into pots or trays. Grow on under cover until large enough to gradually acclimatise to cooler conditions before planting out into borders 60cm apart in well-drained soil in a sunny spot.
