Organic Onion – Sturon
This is an RHS Award of Garden Merit variety producing well sized semi-round bulbs with good keeping qualities. Onion 'Sturon' is a traditional variety that has become a favourite for its reliability. Height: 45cm. Spread: 15cm.
Sow seeds from March to April, thinly in prepared soil in a sunny spot, 13mm deep in drills 45cm apart. Thin seedlings when large enough to handle to 5cm apart for smaller bulbs, or 7cm apart for larger bulbs.
