Onion - Feast F1
Onion Feast has long pure white slender stems contrasting with the dark green, erect leaves of this outstanding spring onion. It has excellent heat and downy mildew tolerance, and stands very well, keeping in good condition. It is ideal for successional sowing. These seeds are in the RHS Vegetable Collection.
Sow from March to early July. Sow seeds in well prepared, fertile soil 1-2cm deep, ideally in broad drills. Allow 30cm between drills. No thinning will be necessary. Later sowings will withstand cooler Autumn weather. Earth up as plants develop for longest blanch. Sow in succession for continuous supply. Keep well watered during dry weather. It prefers well drained, moist, rich, cool conditions.
