This is a worthy recipient of the R.H.S. Award of Garden Merit. Numerous thick massed stems with veined rubbery leaves, and terminating in compound golden yellow florets, radiate in every direction producing a dome reaching almost to the ground.

Sow finely and evenly, covering thinly with compost or grit. Germinate in gentle heat or in a warm bright spot outside. Grow-on individual seedlings in 3 inch pots before planting out.
