Iris Spuria - Halophila

This flower has strong, long stems, which hold multiple heads of large cream and lemon flowers. This tall iris reaches up to 5 feet in height or even higher in damp soil. It is a magnificent, tall and imposing iris, which is well suited for the back of a border or a pond edge.

Cover with compost or grit 5mm deep. Sow anytime and keep moist in a cool, light spot outside. May be slow to germinate. Grow on individual seedlings in 3" pots. Plant out in a well-drained sheltered position.
