Rue Variegated is a hardy evergreen perennial. Its new young leaves have distinctive cream/white variegation, making it an attractive ornamental plant. A native of southern europe, it prefers well-drained poor soil.

WARNING - Brushing against leaves on warm sunny days may cause a photosensitive skin reaction. Site away from paths and front of borders.

Sow the seeds indoors, just covering seeds. It needs temperatures above 20°C for germination. Transplant outdoors or sow direct after any danger of frost has passed in late spring.
