Grow Coriander
Coriander grows quickly from seed and doesn't need much space. Start early pots under cover or sow directly outside from spring, then keep making small sowings through the season. Regular water and a little afternoon shade in hot weather will help keep the leaves coming.
Sow
Sow from February or March under cover, or directly outside from around April. Cover the seeds with about 1cm of compost or soil and keep moist while they germinate. Sow another small batch every few weeks for a steady supply.
Grow on
Thin seedlings if they're badly crowded and keep plants regularly watered. Coriander grows well in pots as well as the garden, and a little afternoon shade can be useful during the hottest part of summer.
Pick & Resow
Start picking leaves once the plants are large enough. When older plants begin flowering, let some carry on for the flowers and seeds and start another sowing for fresh leaves.
