Wild Flowers - Foxglove - Digitalis Purpurea
A tall plant with mauve or purple dark spotted flowers at the paler throat, it is excellent for the back of the border. The plant has a stimulating effect when planted near other plants, encouraging their growth and protecting them from fungus.
Sow outside from March to May where it will flower the following year. It prefers light well drained soil in partial shade or sun.
