Russian Tarragon - Artemesia Dracunculoides

Tarragon is a popular herb, but the true French variety does not seed. The Russian variety has an inferior flavour but is much hardier. It grows to a height of 90cm.

Sow outside from March to May in shallow drills or in a 9cm pot. Thin to 5cm apart, or 2 or 3 to a pot, when large enough to handle. Transplant to the growing site in September or early the following spring.
