Salad Leaves - Mizuna
These are attractive dark green leaves on long white stems. You can use them uncooked in salads or add to a stir-fry. It has a bitter peppery sort of taste to it.
Sow in early spring to late autumn in a well prepared site or in seed trays. Thin out or plant out to about 20 cm apart. Harvest leaves as required, leaving the plant to continue growing.
