Aster - Giant Single Andrella Mixed
This is an improved Madeleine type aster with large, bold, single flowers in a bright mixture. It flowers from the summer through to first frost and makes excellent cuttings. Height: 60cm.
Sow from March to April. Germinate at 20-30C on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost. Do not cover seed. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 7-14 days. Do not exclude light at any stage, as this helps germination. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into trays or 7.5cm pots. Grow on in cooler, well-lit conditions for 1-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 3cm apart.
