Introduced in 2002. This variety is the new standard in home-grown paste tomatoes. These exceptional fruits are plum-shaped incredibly meaty, and enormous – up to 8cm long and 4cm across. Skin peels away easily after part boiling which means less fuss less mess and more delicious thick, creamy sauce.
Sow from February onwards in pots. Will need heat to germinate. Plant out in greenhouse from May onwards or outdoors after hardening off in June. Do not allow the plants to get too cold as they will develop a purple tint and growth will slow down.
