Orthrosanthus Laxus
This variety features incredibly lovely, pale Wedgwood blue starry flowers above thin, iris-like leaves. It is originally from a friend's Australian nursery, but grows and flowers unprotected here. It produces a rare colour in the garden.
Sow at any time, covering with compost or grit 5mm deep and keeping the seeds moist in a cool, light spot outside. Seeds can be slow to germinate, so please be patient. Grow on individual seedlings in 3†pots, and then plant out in a well-drained sheltered position.
