Strawberry - Toscana
Toscana is a prize winning variety producing strong plants with some runners. It is ideal for hanging baskets. It produces very large deep rose flowers and lots of fruit. It can produce 1kg of fruit during the season from early June to mid September.
The germination of these seeds can be a bit slow and erratic. Sow from February onwards undercover, keep temperature at 21C. Germination takes 2-3 weeks. Pot up into individual pots and harden off before planting the seedlings out.
