Catmint - Nepeta Cataria
Catmint, also known as catnip, or dog mint is a hardy bushy plant which has grey-green aromatic leaves, with blue flowers growing to 80 cm. Cats adore the scent and it may attract them away from other parts of your garden. It can be used in herbal tea and other dishes. Catmint requires little care and is almost pest and disease free. It is popular as it flowers for a long time and makes a good edging plant.
Sow outdoors in drills, in May, with thin to 30 cm spacing.
