Fennel Bronze has striking coloured soft feathery foliage that can be used fresh in cheese and fish dishes and chopped into salads. The aromatic seeds can also be used for flavouring. This hardy perennial grows up to 150cm tall.
Fennel is happy in most garden soils, well drained and in the sun. Being tall, fennel makes a good ornamental border plant.
Sow outdoors in situ, in spring, with thin to 30 cm spacing.
