Oregano - Greek
Oregano Greek is a bushy, half hardy perennial with strong aroma and pinkish flowers that grows to 40-60cm. It has a delicious pungent flavour and used widely in Greek and Italian dishes. Pick the leaves as required; it also dries well.
Sow outdoors in drills, in May, with thin to 30 cm spacing. It can also be sown all year round, kept under cover such as a greenhouse or polytunnel. Oregano prefers a warm sheltered position.
