Organic Radish - French Breakfast
This is one of the most famous varieties, featuring lovely light red and white roots with crisp mild flavour.
Sow from February to August. Early sowings can be made in glasshouse, cold frame or under cloches. The roots hold their quality once mature. Alternatively, sow thinly outdoors in a shallow drill 1cm deep with 15cm between rows. Radish plants do not need transplanting and, if sown carefully, thinning is not necessary. Sow a few seeds in a spare area for a quick crop.
